Recently we got to catch up with our favourite Parisian and author of blog  Life of BohemeMarta Cygan. Marta is a strong believer that fashion is what you buy, style is what you do with it.  In our interview with Marta we discussed her personal style tips, favourite travel spots in the South of France and holiday beauty tips. See full interview below.

We are all such a big fans of 'Life of Boheme' at In Your Arms. Can you please tell us what inspired you to start your blog?

Since I can remember I always loved dressing up. My mum says I was terrible, at 5 years old I was crying because I wanted to wear my short dress while it was raining outside. So I guess i'm still the same, doing what I want instead of what people expect. So naturally I started my personal style blog...

We've also noticed that you get up to a bit of traveling, especially around the South of France in Summer. What are your favourite Summer vacation spots?

South of France is my number one summer destination, Its like my second home. My favourite spots are around Nice. Saint Jean cap Ferrat for the beaches (Paloma Beach), Saint Paul de Vence for Architectur with la Fondation Maeght is my favourite.

What are your travel essentials?

Nivea cream to stay very hydrating, a nice bikini from In Your Arms, high shorts and a big white shirt stolen from my boyfriend.

What would we find in your beach bag?

50SPF cream, Céline sunglasses, water.

You've been looking great the In Your Arms Astro Bikini! How do you maintain your bikini body?

I don't exercise, I’ve got abs and have never worked on them! Should say thank you to my Mum for her good genetic. But I do walk a lot around Paris!

Could you share with is your favourite beauty products? And any of your Beauty secrets.

I don't buy masks for my hair, I prefer to use natural oils like coconut ,olive and avocado. I leave the oil mixture on my hair overnight and wash it off in the morning. But make sure you are sleeping alone when you do it... the smell is bad! For my face I use Nivea cream, Avène and LaRoche-Posay are my favourite products.

We adore your quintessential French style. Could you tell us where your style inspiration from?

Merci! Well, I’ve always lived in Paris. Parisians observe each other alot, its very common. When you’re sitting at a Parisian café people watch everyone walking by, so we care about how we dress. We never try too hard, not laid back at all, I guess its more about a Chic effortless and timeless style.

Where is your favourite city for shopping?

Paris is my favorite shopping city. I love Le Bon Marché.

Who is your style muse?

I don't have a Muse. For me its more about  an attitude in any women you can see in the street and observe, be charmed by.

What is your favourite In Your Arms bikini?

The Asto bikini in white.

Recently we go to catch up with bohemian beauty and creative genius behind Wild & Free Jewelry, Corina Alulquoy.  Drawing inspiration from the ocean, wildlife, and Native American culture, Corina makes the perfect muse for In You Arms. She continued to inspire us when she teamed up with photographer Yenny D  and an In Your Arms 'Jupiter' bikini, taking us away to a lush tropical paradise. See full interview below.

Where are you as you answer these questions?

In my room, sitting on my bed. (Super lame answer to this question, I know!). I've been traveling so much the past few months that it almost feels strange to finally be at home in my own bed. My favorite thing about my room at home is that I'm always surrounded by tons of feathers, flowers, jewelry and creations from throughout the years. I love decorating and my room is the perfect example of that. I even have an entire wall dedicated to jewelry because I couldn't fit it all on the shelves!

Where do get inspiration for your designs from?

I pull inspiration from everywhere, but I have to say that my top are my family and nature. My dad is highly creative and my mom is always encouraging and supporting my decision to take on the world as a young entrepreneur. Together they give me the strength to continue with Wild & Free Jewelry and never stop pushing myself to the next level. Most of my designs are inspired by the way they raised me and my childhood growing up with a strong Native American cultural influence.

Aside from that, I've always been a girl who loves being outside and away from the city. Any time I have the opportunity to travel or be outside I take it! There's something about being alone in nature that always inspires me. It makes me feel like a little kid again and my imagination runs wild. It's also very cleansing to take a moment to pull back and immerse yourself in the raw beauty of mountains, trees or the ocean. Running Wild & Free Jewelry requires me to constantly work on my computer or check social media. Sometimes this can be draining and I catch myself needing to get away. As soon as I am able to take a break I find myself endlessly inspired by what I can find in the wilderness.

If you could visit anywhere in the world where would it be?

Definitely Australia! I've been wanting to go for years and I just haven't made the trek yet. Hopefully someday soon! Everyone I meet from Australia and all the brands I've worked with who are based there are just so amazing. I'm convinced I was born on the wrong continent.

Favourite place you have ever been?

I think Guatemala is one of the most beautiful places I've ever traveled to, specifically Rio Dulce. I went there last year and fell completely in love. I adore all of the Guatemalan culture, especially their colorful textiles. The embroidered denim jackets I make were initially inspired by my travels in Antigua, in fact, the first jacket I made was composed of woven sashes I purchased during my time there. I still have the jacket and I know I will treasure it forever because it's a mesh of different fabrics from different locations. It's almost like a wearable souvenir in a sense. I also love how each woven sash holds cultural significance to the native people and that the patterns and colors change depending on the area the textile originates. Their fabric tells a story and that's something that I truly admire in clothing.

Do you have any beauty tips for travelling?

I think the best beauty tip I can offer is to travel to a place where there is an ocean. I'm happiest when I'm traveling near the beach because I feel like I can always rinse off in the ocean instead of shower. My hair and skin always feel so much healthier when I'm able to pretend I'm a mermaid in the sea. Oh, and, I LOVE coconut oil! I use that for everyyyythinggg! Especially when you're traveling somewhere tropical, coconut oil comes in handy. It can keep your hair and skin moisturized after all that swimming in saltwater!

If you were leaving for a road trip right now, what would you pack?

Ahhh! This question makes me wish I really was going on a road trip right now. I think I would have to say my top choices of things to take would be...
1. A camera
2. Some really epic clothes (either a rad fringe jacket or a gown that I could take into the wilderness and play dress up in)
3. My cell phone (because my entire job relies on having my cell phone with me at all times)
4. Probably some Wild & Free Jewelry headpieces to pair with my fringe jacket or gown
5. A really good book!

What’s a dream of yours that you have on hold for the moment and why?

Honestly.... not to bring it up again... but .... I think traveling to Australia is probably the biggest dream I have on hold right now. It's something I can't afford yet, but I hope to make happen in the near future. I think about it everyday and really hope it comes true in the next few years!

What’s your favourite music festival?

I went to a smaller music festival in California recently, called Lightning in a Bottle, and it was hands down my favorite experience at a music festival. Everyone I met was so incredibly nice and loving. There was tons of art and the style was right up my alley. I left feeling inspired to create and just so happy from everyone's beautiful energy.

Who is your ultimate muse?
I LOVE ZELLA DAY and LANA DEL REY! Those girls make my world go round.

Which is your favourite In Your Arms bikini?
They're all SO CUTE! Of course I love the Jupiter bikini that I took photos in, but I also adore the Solar One Piece. The high rise style is so flattering. I kinda wish all my suits were like that now.

Meet Destiny Sierra, International Swimwear Model and co-founder of Models Of Compassion.  Recently we got to catch up with Destiny to discuss her passions, fitness and beauty tips, travel and of coarse bikinis! See full interview below.

Where are you as you answer these questions?

I am currently lying in my bed in pink silk PJs drenched in coconut oil to hydrate my skin and hair while my sweet little dog Chloe stares at me wondering when I will pet her next.

What’s a typical day for you?

I wake up and drink my coffee then go on an hour long walk with my hyper and full of life little dog. This is my favorite part of most days as it is a way for me to clear my mind and organize the rest of my day. If I don't have a modeling job that day, I usually am running errands and then working on my laptop with tasks related to my non-profit, Models of Compassion, that my best friend and I founded earlier this year. I usually end the night with meeting some friends for dinner and drinks at chateau marmot or ordering in, cuddling and watching Netflix.

What inspires you the most?

Helping others. I feel the most inspired when I make someone else feel happy and loved or when I can relieve a being of suffering even if it is just for a moment. Making any amount of positive change in another living beings life is my ultimate goal, always.

What is your favourite city in the world and why?

Shocking as it may be to some - I love Los Angeles. I have the beach, amazing weather, the city life or the country life (whichever I choose), and my family near by! What more could I want. The vibe and energy in this city is so laid back and comfortable. Although, I love to travel and there still are SO many cities I long to visit but haven't so who knows, maybe I will have a new favorite city in the future.

What are your favourite things to do in LA?

Walk, dine and socialize are a few of my favorite things to do in the city of angels. I live in an area where I am able to walk to almost anything I would ever need, my car rarely gets any use these days! There are so many amazing restaurants in LA and new ones are always opening - not to mention a huge selection of vegan/vegetarian places! I love eating out which leads me to socializing. I love connecting with my little circle of amazing friends and talking about life and hearing all of their interesting stories and experiences. I gain my energy from being social and connecting with others.  I am definitely an extrovert even though I am shy at times.

Do you have any beauty tips for traveling?

Whatever you do, make sure you always have coconut oil with you! Flying dehydrates you and can make your skin and hair very dry. I like to find a sauna to get rid of water retention and then lather up in coconut oil after. Different climates can always mess with your skin as well - coconut oil cures all.

What do you do to keep in shape?

Walk, walk, and WALK! I walk 3-5 miles per day at a steady fast pace and then I try my best to do Carries Pilates Plus at least 1-2 times per week to stay lean and toned.

What are some of your passions?

My top three passions are my family/friends, animals and children. My support system of family and friends is the greatest part of who I am, I am the most passionate about making sure they are happy, loved and healthy. As a part of my non-profit, Models of Compassion, I work a lot with animals and children. I love all beings, but what I am most passionate about is exotic animals, extinction and preserving their habitats, and putting an end to any suffering. I enjoy working with children in orphanages to educate them but most of all to show them they are worthy of receiving love and capable of giving love.  I really believe love is all we need.

Who is your ultimate muse?

I have so many in all different categories. Physically, Adriana Lima has always inspired me - I find her to be the most beautiful woman on earth. Influentially, I love everything Angelina Jolie stands for and I admire her dedication to her family and this planet. Style wise, I love how Kate Moss dresses and carries herself. She is definitely one of my top style icons.

Which is your favourite In Your Arms bikini?

Every. Single. One. - I am serious though, I literally love every single style! But If I had to choose, I think the Lunar is best for my body shape and personal style. I love simple and sharp. This bikini makes me feel effortlessly sexy.
